At the Lyric, we understand that experiencing live performances alongside arts training can profoundly change a young person's life. Our in-school and after-school programs in dance, theatre, music, and creative writing are rooted in the belief that every individual has a unique and valuable story to tell. Through exciting and interactive exercises, writing prompts, student innovation and more, students acquire essential skills to present theatrical performances for their family and friends. Horizons offers training in theater, music, and creative writing for students in grades 5-12. Our mission is to nurture students' voices, imagination, and creative agency. These weekly workshops culminate in students performing their original works. Each workshop location showcases two performances: one in December and another production in the spring. We are thrilled to introduce these workshops at your site. While these sessions typically span several months, we are now exclusively providing one-day masterclasses for schools interested in our offerings. Our workshops will introduce our program and engage young people in theater and creative writing.
