Venue policies may differ from event to event, so please check individual event pages for specific details prior to attending. Below are some helpful tips to help you enjoy your visit.
Prohibited Items
For your safety, all guests and their bags are subject to inspection before entry. The following items are prohibited:
- Oversized bags (maximum size allowed is 6" x 8" x 2")
- Backpacks
- Boxes
- Outside food items
- Outside beverage items
- Cans, bottles, coolers, or similar containers
- Video cameras
- Audio recorders
- Laser pens or laser products
- Noisemaking devices (horns, whistles, etc)
- Projectiles (frisbees, beach balls, etc)
- Banners or signs
- Stickers
- Skateboards, skates, or scooters
- Firearms or weapons of any kind
- Sticks or poles
- Umbrellas with pointed ends (blunt end umbrellas are okay)
- Illegal drugs or substances
- Fireworks or other incendiary devices
- Strollers (must remain in the lobby)
- Any other item deemed unacceptable by Lyric management, performing Artists, or promoters
Lyric management reserves the right to make the final determination toward additional prohibited items. The Lyric is not responsible for lost or left items, stolen items, or damaged items. Possession of prohibited items is grounds for ejection from the property. Items confiscated at entry will not be returned.
Bag Policy
No non-clear bags larger than 6"×8"×2"
APPROVED BAGS:
Wristlets or wallets
6"×8"×2" or smaller
Clear bags up to 12"×12"×6"
Clear, one (1) gallon plastic resealable storage bag
Lockers are available during certain events. Please check the event page closer to your date to see if they will be available that night!
Ticket Fees
Avoid Ticketmaster fees and purchase tickets in person at the Lyric Box Office! Only a $4.50 facility fee applies to all tickets purchased in person.
Mobile Tickets
Before arriving at your event, please download the Ticketmaster app on your mobile device and locate your tickets in your account. Save your tickets in your mobile wallet on your phone before arriving at the venue. Upon arrival, you will pull up your tickets from your mobile wallet, present them to the ticket scanner who will scan the barcode, and you’re in.
Lost & Found
If you realize you’ve lost an item while still in the building, please inquire with Security for assistance locating the item. If you discover you’ve lost an item after you’ve left the building, please call 410-900-1165. The Lyric assumes no responsibility for lost items.
What are the Box Office Hours?
The Lyric box office is open Tuesday through Friday from 10am to 4pm. For shows that occur on a Saturday or Sunday, the box office will open three (3) hours prior to showtime.
What is The Lyric?
The Lyric is a non-profit performing arts center and live entertainment venue in Baltimore.
Where is The Lyric Located?
The Lyric is located in Baltimore's historic Mount Vernon Neighborhood. The venue is nestled between the Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA) and the University of Baltimore (UB).

What kind of Accessibility Services does the Lyric Offer?
The Lyric strives to make the theatre experience enjoyable and comfortable for all guests. When purchasing your tickets, please notify the box office of any accessibility requirements you may have. The Lyric offers a variety of accessibility services: ramp, wheelchair, assistive listening devices, sign language interpretation and low vision accessibility, upon request.

You may choose your exact seat location by visiting lyricbaltimore.com or visiting the Lyric box office in person.
Are There Other Places Where I Can Purchase Lyric Tickets?
The Lyric box office and ticketmaster.com are the only official ticket outlets, unless specifically noted on the event page. Make sure to protect yourself from potential ticket scams by ensuring that you are on ticketmaster.com on your browser.
Do You Offer Group Discounts?
Yes. Groups enjoy special benefits, and group discounts may be offered for select shows. Please call 410-900-1150 or email KarenG@asmbaltimore.com for more information and to make reservations.
Do Children Need Tickets to Enter The Lyric?
Once a child has reached their first (1st) birthday, they must have a ticket and a seat. For specific questions, please call the box office at 410-900-1150.

Does The Lyric Offer Concessions?
The Lyric concessions are open on show days. We offer Coca-Cola products, bottled water, juice and coffee. We also offer a full liquor bar, beer and wine. Snacks offered include hot dogs, burgers, chips, pretzels, candy and other assorted items.
Are Beverages Allowed in the Theater?
Yes, beverages are allowed in the theater.
