Venue policies may differ from event to event, so please check individual event pages for specific details prior to attending. Below are some helpful tips to help you enjoy your visit.
Accessibility Arrangements

Please note: ADA seating and sign language interpreters must be requested at least two weeks before the performance.
Authorized Ticket Seller
Etix is the Lyric Baltimore's authorized ticket vendor. The Lyric Baltimore can only guarantee tickets purchased directly through the Lyric Box Office, Etix.com, or by clicking the "buy tickets" button of the desired event at lyricbaltimore.com.
Bag Check, Inspection, and Searches
All guests entering The Lyric are subject to a reasonable search, including the use of metal detectors, wanding, and bag searches. The Lyric personnel reserve the right to deny entry of any items that may cause damage to the facility or danger/disruption to an event.
If prohibited items are revealed during a search, guests will be permitted to return to their vehicles to store the items or will have their items confiscated or disposed of properly. The Lyric will not safeguard any personal belongings or items of any type. Guests who violate building policies or decline to be searched may be denied entry or ejected from the venue.
Box Office Hours
The Lyric Box Office is open for in-person ticket sales Tuesday through Friday from 10AM to 4PM. For shows that occur on a Saturday or Sunday, the box office will open three (3) hours before showtime.
Cancellations
If an event at The Lyric has been canceled, please take the tickets to the place of purchase for a full refund.
Child Entry Policy
Once a child has reached their first (1st) birthday, they must have a ticket and a seat. For specific questions, please call the box office at 410-900-1165.
Concessions
The Lyric concessions are open on show days. We offer Coca-Cola products, bottled water, juice, and coffee. We also offer a full liquor bar, beer, and wine. Snacks offered include hot dogs, burgers, chips, pretzels, candy, and other assorted items. Concessions are cashless at this time.

Doors Opening
The Lyric lobby opens one (1) hour prior to the start of the event.
Group Sales
Groups enjoy special benefits, and group discounts may be offered for select shows. Please call 410-900-1165 or email karen@mdlyric.org for more information and to make reservations.
Location
The Lyric is located in Baltimore's historic Mount Vernon Neighborhood. The venue is nestled between the Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA) and the University of Baltimore (UB).

Lost & Found
If you realize you’ve lost an item while still in the building, please inquire with security for assistance locating the item. If you discover you’ve lost an item after you’ve left the building, please email info@mdlyric.org. The Lyric assumes no responsibility for lost items.

Prohibited Items
For your safety, all guests and their bags are subject to inspection before entry. The following items are prohibited:
- Oversized bags (maximum size allowed is 6" x 8" x 2")
- Backpacks
- Boxes
- Outside food items
- Outside beverage items
- Cans, bottles, coolers, or similar containers
- Video cameras
- Cameras with detachable lens
- Audio recorders
- Laser pens or laser products
- Noisemaking devices (horns, whistles, etc)
- Projectiles (frisbees, beach balls, etc)
- Banners or signs
- Stickers
- Skateboards, skates, or scooters
- Firearms or weapons of any kind
- Sticks or poles
- Umbrellas with pointed ends (blunt end umbrellas are okay)
- Illegal drugs or substances
- Fireworks or other incendiary devices
- Strollers (must remain in the lobby)
- Any other item deemed unacceptable by Lyric management, performing Artists, or promoters
Lyric management reserves the right to make the final determination toward additional prohibited items. The Lyric is not responsible for lost or left items, stolen items, or damaged items. Possession of prohibited items is grounds for ejection from the property. Items confiscated at entry will not be returned.
Refunds and Exchanges
All ticket purchases at The Lyric are final, no refunds or exchanges are given, except in the case of an event cancellation.
Weather
All shows will go on snow, rain or shine. However, in the event of severe weather, we will keep our fans notified via our social media pages. An event may be delayed, postponed, or canceled depending on the severity of the weather expected.
Will Call Policies
Will Call tickets may be picked up 2 hours prior to the performance you are attending from the Lyric Box Office. Purchaser must present a picture ID when picking up tickets.
